If you haven’t noticed, I love characters with good hearts. Who doesn’t love Koby? From the weakest in the series, to now one of the stronger characters. I feel like there’s something everyone can learn from Tom, and his absolute grittiness. Not only that, but he built the Oro Jackson for Roger, AND his apprentice is Franky. In order to keep his apprentices safe, he knows the only way to save them is to let himself become the scapegoat. It might seem like my list is all over the place, but I just really love characters that have a strong moral in them. Also, he fights with a sword, so that’s a plus. It’s as if he KNOWS how everything will turn out to be. I love how composed he is in every situation. Even in his old age he’s kicking ass and dedicated a decent amount of time to training Luffy. He’s one of the coolest characters in the entire show and incredibly laid back. There’s absolutely nothing bad to say about Rayleigh. Silvers Rayleigh Is The Certified Cool Old Guy I’m super intrigued by what he will do next. Now that he’s working under Blackbeard, the mystery returns. He understands lives are unjustly being taken by the World Government, so he doesn’t follow it to the T. Just from that, we can tell that Aokiji is different from most marines. We know he let Robin live back when the World Government destroyed Ohara, and he again let Robin live, along with the Straw Hats, after the events at Alabasta and Skypeia. There’s a lot of mystery surrounding Kuzan, which really makes me interested in him. Hancock’s background is also quite interesting with her being a slave to the World Government as a child but eventually escaping due to Fisher Tiger attacking Marie Jois. However, she quickly turns a new leaf and finds love for Luffy after hating men almost her entire life. Similarly to Buggy, Hancock’s introduction didn’t feel the greatest, especially when she was antagonizing Luffy. There’s more to see from Buggy in the future, so for now, he’s at 17. I also just love his reactions when he’s the butt of the joke. It was hilarious how everything that should have gone wrong ends up in his favor, and how he gained hundreds of followers as a phony.
During Impel Down and Marineford is when I truly started to like his character. After time and repeated encounters with the Straw Hats, I began to really like him. I don’t know about you guys, but Buggy was pretty annoying when he was first introduced. Paulie just left a really good impression on me, so I hope to see him again in the future. I know we were all fooled into thinking he had a devil fruit. Mans fought with an unlimited supply of rope. I think we were all a little sad when Paulie didn’t join the Straw Hats, but I can’t be upset at all with the shipwright we receive instead. I just really love his personality because he has many reasons to be hateful, but he instead ignores all the negativity and churns out a very caring person. He’s definitely my favorite of the Nine Red Scabbards, even though he doesn’t get really any screen time after he’s introduced. Oda built him up quite well, at least to me, and I really liked his whole design. I remember when Kawamatsu was first introduced. Also, his devil fruit is cool, his gag is pretty funny, and he’s genuinely a good person (or at least not evil). He’s literally just doing his best at being Warden at Impel Down, and Luffy came in to disrupt his job.
He isn’t harming anyone and taking advantage of others for his own gain. Generally, I don’t really like villains, but I guess Magellan also doesn’t quite fit the villain role as other villains do. Magellan is one of the only villains I actually like in One Piece. Let’s see “One Piece Best Characters!” 20. In this article, I am going to tell you guys my favorite characters in the entire show.
We all know how many characters are in One Piece, and a lot of them have incredible backstories and development. I just can’t step away from writing about one of my favorite things, especially when it comes to One Piece best characters. I’m back on that One Piece article grind.
